Except that it isn't a chestnut! Another hide on a key route into Upper Poppleton as part of my current series dotted around this picturesque village.
The penultimate hide in this lovely village.... As a recent but now addicted member of the geocaching fraternity, I was horrified to find that Poppleton had no caches at all when I visited family here last year. Consequently I have set about rectifying this serious omission by placing several different types of caches around the village, the latter ones marking the entrances to it. For seasoned cachers this one will present very few problems....I've even organised a convenient bench where you can sit and fill in the paperwork! There is quite good roadside parking close to GZ and the road is served by a local bus that passes in each direction every 30 minutes. It's a busy road though so please don't get muggled. The cache has been very carefully placed so I would appreciate it being put back in exactly the same spot and 'blended in'. Enjoy!
