Built in 1919 for the Riverside Milling Company of Reno, near the V&T Railway tracks, the original warehouse was used to store grain and hay. William Graunke later took over the business and the building was known as Graunke warehouse. In 1950, the Carson Valley Ice Company purchased the building to use as an ice distributorship. Lawrence Jacobsen renamed the company Jacobsen Distributing Company after buying out his partner in the company in 1952 and the business continued until 1981. In 1982, after extensive rebuilding of the warehouse, a restaurant called the Atrium was opened. In 1988, Fiona’s Restaurant was opened here, and then in 2007 this building became the home to Saletti’s Restaurant until demolition for this parking lot in 2017.
Enjoy this quick park and grab.
