Take plenty of water, as the treacherous land about the Inferno will certainly seek to drain every bit of water from your body and turn you to dust under the hot sun. Keep an ear out for cyclists. They often don't expect to encounter hikers along the trail. Plan on hiking between two to three miles round trip. All you have to work with is this map:
Visit this letterbox's page for more details. From the clue page: About 63 paces Northeast along the trail near the NW corner of the Land of Hades is a washout where the trail once dipped relatively near the hades fenceline. Follow the new trail around the washout and look Northwest. The large tree closest to the dip has some tree limbs & such piled around it. It used to have lag bolts attached about chest & waist high, but those appear to now have been eaten by the tree. Stand about a yard South of this tree and shoot a line past a smaller tree due North to another large tree nearby. The letterbox lies under that tree. Bring a stamp and an inkpad if you have one. If not, just sign the book.
You may leave the letterbox the way you came, but I recommend heading up and east to the Forgotten Hills and then turn south. Part of that trail runs along an abandoned railroad. If you're lucky, you can eat some sweet, ripe mulberries along the trail to the Hills.
