A long-standing tradition in NEOGEO-land
is the awarding of the coveted
Golden Ammo Can
to geocachers who have reached their
1,000th find milestone.
Over the years, nearly 250 geocachers
have accepted this prestigious award.
Those coveted keepsakes are then taken home,
seldom seen by other geocachers again....
Whether you received your ammo can
in June of 2017, or more than 10 years ago,
we want to invite you to bring it to
Golden Can Palooza!
to show it off again!
We'll show you ours if you show us yours!
We're having a weenie roast with
other potluck goodies, games, and prizes!
The reunion will be held at:

Hot dogs, buns, condiments and tableware
will be provided.
Please bring a side dish, dessert, or drinks to share.
You don't need to have found 1,000 geocaches or received a golden ammo can yourself to attend "Golden Can Palooza!"~ all are welcome.
Please post a "Will Attend" log with how many will be coming with you and what you will be bringing to the potluck.
If you have received a Golden Ammo Can,
when logging your "Will Attend,"
please tell us which class you were a member of.
Also, if you cannot attend this event,
it would be great if you can make arrangements
for your Golden Ammo Can to come in your place.
We will allow absentee owners
to log an "Attended" log
if their can is there.
We plan to take a picture with everyone showing off their cans!
