The Lake / λίμνη Traditional Cache

This year we decided that we finally leave a cache close to our house on Crete. The cache is located besides a small lake not far from Georgioupoli, you will find a small rest area next to the lake with some benches to enjoy the view.

02 September 2019 - after we had to disable the cache due to vandalism in the surroundings, jabi10 (thank you very much! ) found a new spot and placed a new container, so we can eventually re-enable the cache. Coordinates have been amended accordingly, please check out the new spoiler photo.

The cache is a small box with room for a trackable. Please make sure you close it properly and hide it well again. We are here on a regular basis since this the home country of my friend and we have a house here. Please send us a message in case of issues with the cache, when we are not here a cousin of my friend will maintain it.

There is NO NEED to take apart anything, especially not the rocks from the stone wall!!! Please respect this place and do not enter into the wildlife area.
