Cette cache fait partie des sept du Arzon Tour, crées par Historick pour faire découvrir les hauts lieux de la commune au bout de la Presqu'île de Rhuys.
La paroisse d'Arzon est mentionnée depuis le IXe siècle comme possession des abbés de Redon, centre intellectuel et religieux important au Moyen Âge. Ce village se trouve au bout d'une voie romaine reliant Dariorigum (Vannes) à la pointe de Port Navalo, point stratégique de l'entrée du Golfe et vraisemblablement en relation avec le port gallo-romain de Locmariaquer.
Près de la cache, vous pourrez visiter l'Église. Construite en 1815 en restaurée jusqu'en 1920, l'Église actuelle remplace surement un bâtiment plus ancien comme c'est le cas non loin, à Kerner. Nommée Église de l'Assomption Notre Dame, elle eu à l'origine le nom de Locmaria ("le lieu de Marie" en breton). Le cloché est éclairé la nuit et peu être vu loin en mer et dans le Morbihan. Si la ville à longtemps vécu de l'agriculture et surtout de la pèche, aujourd'hui on vit essentiellement de la saison touristique, près des trois quart des habitations servant à la villégiature.

This cache is part of the seven from the Arzon Tour, created by Historick to take you around the best places of the town, at the end of the Rhuys Peninsula.
The parish of Arzon is mentioned since the IXth century as a land belonging to the abbeys of Redon, an important intelectual and spiritual center during the Middle Ages. This village is at the end of a roman road, groing from Dariorigum (Vannes) to Port Navalo, a strategic point at the entrance of the Gulf and apparently linked to the gallo-roman harbour of Locmariaquer.
Next to the cache you can visit the church of Assomption Notre Dame built during the XIXth century and many times restored. The top is enlightened and it can be seen from quite far away by night. Living mostly of fishing for hundreds of years, now the town is nearly entirely dedicated to tourism.
