Geocache Description:

Located on the Florida Trail - just off of Highway 192 between Melbourne and St. Cloud. The access point is approximately 10 miles east of Holopaw (Intersection of 192 and 441)

Look for the gate to the levee road on the south side of Highway 192 - the sign on the gate says "Levee 73". this is a designated entry point for the Florida Trail. Hike south on the elevated levee road for about 3/10 of a mile - keep an eye out for wildlife as soon as you enter. The wild turkey and deer are abundant here and there is also a "gator" hole just to the right as you enter the gate. You will pick up the Florida Trail on the west side of the levee road where the fenced compound is located. Look for the orange blazes that begin, first on the fence posts, and then continue to mark the trail as blazes on the trees at which point you will enter the wooded area. The tree canopy will make your gps'r reception a little iffy but it should lead you to the cache location easily enough. It's not far. After reaching the cache location make sure to continue on the trail a little further for the most scenic part of this section ot the Florida Trail. Although a relatively short hike - it can be very hot and very buggy and soggy when wet as it was the day we placed the cache. We couldn't go as far as we wanted due to the water covering part of the trail and wasn't in the mood for slogging today. The cache contains many fun items as well as some signature "Zen" treasures. Be sure to sign the log book and have fun !!!
