Geocache Description:

Spectacular vistas from these cactus cliffs in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Best and legal parking is off of Raymondskill Road at: N 41.17.406, W 74.50.464 (Home of the Million Dollar Toilet - your tax dollars at work.)

Be sure to visit the falls while you're there. A small trail continues upstream for a longer hike and more falls. The cache can be accessed from this roundabout route.

Use any of the many trails to the top, but please stay on the trails. Cliff Park, a private resort, owns parts of this area. They allow hikers as long as they stay on the trails.

Your mission is to privately email me these sightings from the cache co-ordinates to prove you were there: something tall and skinny and far away, something long and narrow and not very far away, one other distinctive feature which impresses you most.

Pennsylvania's only native cactus, opuntia (prickly pear), grows all along these cliffs. They are in bloom at the beginning of July and in fruit in the fall. You can find some at: N 41.17.849, W 74.49.747

Happy hunting.
