The arboretum has nearly 10 km of trails, and several boardwalks in the more marshy areas. This cache is an ammo can located just off the beginning of one of the boardwalk sections. Note that cache was placed in the fall when the ground was somewhat dry, but this area will be wet and marshy in the spring/summer so wear appropriate footwear. Finders should also be aware that there is poison ivy growing nearby.
The arboretum is located on the University of Guelph, and is open year-round. The numerous trails offer a wealth of ecological diversity. Take the time to enjoy the gardens, trees, ponds, and the occasional sculpture. This cache is located on the Wild Goose Woods trail. Parking is waypointed, and was free for visitors at the time of publication.
