Geocache Description:

THEME CACHE – KEY CHAINS

Bring your cameras! You will not believe this tree. Ever hear of a “host tree”? Well, I don’t think this is one. Someone, many years ago, started this and groomed it to look like this. It’s too straight! I have seen “host trees” especially in the Ho River Rain Forest on the west side of the Olympic Peninsula. They’re not like this. This is a deciduous tree.

This park is small with a large paved path. It joins Hiteon Elementary so during the summer or after school hours bring your baseball, soccer ball, football, frisbee, kickball. There is a slide, swings, couple of picnic tables, plenty of open area and plenty of shade. One thing it doesn’t have is a restroom.

This is a theme cache. I would like to stick with the theme, please.

You do NOT have to leave the man-made path at anytime to do this cache. No bushwhacking needs to be done!! The cache is a clear plastic peanut butter jar.

Enjoy the hunt! THANKS

PS.... Log Date: 10/28/2003 Sorry there is no Bitey TB here. It was pummeled some time back and poor BBD must have been kidnapped. :( Thanks to everyone who offered advice on how to "bury" him in the Graveyard, however I don't have the second half of the tag so I cannot track him to grab him out of here (was a classic newbie mistake awhile ago)

Any suggestions would be appreciated, BiteyDog
