One of a series of 24 Traditional caches, 2 multis, a letterbox and 3 challenge caches around Virginia Water, mostly family friendly and mostly screw top beakers suitable for small swaps and trackables.

The listed co-ordinates are not those of the cache, but for the middle of Wick Pond. You should visit the notice board in front of the Totem Pole, which is 70 metres west of the listed co-ordinates. Using the information on the board, project a waypoint from where you are standing to where the cache is hidden.
If the year the totem pole was erected is ABCD, then the bearing to the cache is (D-C) C (A+C) . (D-A) degrees.
The distance is (height of the pole, in feet, * 2) + (the age of the tree when it was felled / 10) metres.
While most users of conventional GPS receivers expect their devices to have a Project Waypoint function, this is a much less common facility on smartphones. I have ensured that the information you need to project the waypoint is available online, so the projection can be done prior your visit, but if you haven't been to the totem pole before it is still worth going to see it.
This is a letterbox hybrid cache, and so contains a small stamp and ink pad. These are in a plastic bag to keep the rest of the contents clean. These are not swaps, so please do not remove them from the cache, and if you have children, be aware of the potential for a dreadful mess if care is not taken!
Dogs are permitted in most of the grounds, but in the Valley Gardens they must be kept on a lead.
Cycling is permitted in much of the grounds, but not in Valley Gardens, and cycles must not be brought through the Englefield Green foot entrance in the far east corner.
