Geocache Description:


The cache is close at hand. Take time to sign the trail log and leave a little info about yourself. Walk along the trail and enjoy the forest. Some informative signs can be found along the trail.I was fortunate enough to be able to help with a little trail maintenance along this section of trail. Turkeys could be heard in the distance. Bring your bug spray if visiting in summer. This is a great place to come anytime of year. The cache would be hard to find after lots of snow. If you are up for a hike you can start here and make it over to HWY 102. There are two more caches if you make it all the way to 102 on the IAT. Even more if you continue beyond 102. Particularly beautiful in fall. The actual cache is a pint size jar. GZ takes you to the cache but you might not realize you are looking right at it. More hints below. FTF gets a shiny US coin. You have to be FTF to learn the value of said coin (not common in the change you might get from the store). Placed with permission of the IAT director. FTF goes to bigjim60--congratulations.
