Come along to Hackley Bay between 11am and 3pm for food, fun and games. This means being at the Forvie car park around 10am!!
Bring along your own picnic or disposable BBQ and food to cook - we are more than welcome to do so as long as we remove all the litter.
Bring along any games, like beach ball, frisbee, bat and ball etc. After last 2 years, I'd also suggest towels and spare clothes!
Please be aware that this is about 2.5km from the car parks. The walk is along a grassy and sandy trail then down steep steps to the bay itself. Definitely not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies - sorry. It's very worth the walk, the bay is stunning.

*****Please be aware that mobile reception may NOT be available down in the bay itself. I've been advised by the reserve manager to let you know in advance that if anyone should get into trouble to dial 999 and ask for COASTGUARD as they can provide medical assistance much faster than an ambulance can. The local coastguards know the reserve well if you tell them Hackley Bay*****
