This cache set in the traditional Letterbox style.
The cache is not at the given location and you do not necessarily need to go there in order to calculate where the cache is hidden.
From the given coordinates the cache can be found at a distance of 526m on a bearing of 66.53°.
Once you have calculated the final location for all the caches, the series will form a circular walk of just over XXX miles. The walk will take you through on a route from Barmpton Village through the countryside, across many fields and woods ending at the beginning. There is no significant hills or gradients along the route. There is a small muddy area in the winter months on the public footpath in one of the woods. Please show some respect and be aware that you do not need to enter any private lands or farm along the way to reach the caches.
Most of the caches consist of 60ml screw top pots. Please ensure that the lids are screwed on well to help keep any moisture out. There are a couple of bigger caches if you wish to leave any trackables. Each cache contains an individual stamp as well as a logbook. Please DO NOT REMOVE the ink stamp from the cache.
The Difficulty rating for these caches are based on the work required to calculate the Final Location. Most of the hides should be fairly simple. The Terrain rating is based on completing the series as a whole.
Copy and paste logs are fine but if you do wish to leave a longer account of your day then please do this at #1.
If you are unable to find a cache, please log a DNF to help me keep an eye on any maintenance issues. Please DO NOT put a throw-down cache in place. Any caches found to have been replaced without prior permission will result in your log being deleted!
You will be walking past farms and stables. Please DO NOT attempt to do this by torchlight.
Depending on the time of the year there may be cattle or sheep in a number of the fields on the route.
