Winchester Meet and Greet #16 Event Cache

Now Skittles and Lala have moved out of the area, many of us felt that it would be a good idea to keep these events going, and we volunteered to arrange the next one.  We thought we'd try a slightly different format, to see what everyone thinks, and hold this late afternoon rather than at lunchtime, so that anybody planning a day out caching can finish off their caching day at the event.

The event will begin at 16.00 and go on until at least 17.30.  Our venue this time will be a pub that we've visited before, The Queen Inn.

The pub does have its own car park and, if this is full, there is free on-street parking nearby.  According to the pub's website food is served up until 20.00 on a Sunday, and from previous experience it has a good selection of real ales, if you're interested in that sort of thing.

As it is the week after the UK Mega event, those of us who attended this (and possibly Piratemania too, given that this is relatively close to us this year) can swap stories about who they bumped into and at which caches, swap and discover trackables and generally discuss all things geocaching.

We can help out with any trackables that want to head to the USA, although nothing too big please!

We can also collectively work on any puzzles that anybody is stuck on, although with no guarantee of success!
