Geocache Description:

Where: North Lake Park, 3600 Grand Mere Rd

When: Friday, August 25 7:30-10:00 PM (Cache coordinates will be distributed at 7:30, bonfire starts at 8:30)

What: 4 new paddle-in caches will be unveiled! Bring your own boat, or beg/borrow/steal one at the event if you don't own a boat and want to cache. Bonfire will be held on shore for the landlubbers (and paddlers, too!). S'mores fixin's will be provided.

North Grand Mere Lake is a very shallow lake! It is best suited to kayaks, canoes, rowboats, etc. There is a concrete boat launch as well as a floating dock available. Don't forget your PFD! The boat launch is at the back of the park, past the pavilion.

Bring your own chair and (nonalcoholic) beverage for the bonfire. Intoxicating beverages are not allowed in Lincoln Township Parks.

There is a playground in the park for the kids. Leashed pets are welcome.

Sunset is at 8:30, and the park is open until 11:00 PM. Bring a flashlight if you plan on caching after dark!
