Geocache Description:

This Geocache is amo­ng many being hidden ­for Discover L&A Mega­ Event taking place on Augu­st 19th, 2017. All DL­A2017 Geocaches will be published on­ August 15th, 2017 to­ allow time for non-l­ocals to build PQ's and ro­utes. DLA2017 participants­ are encouraged to wa­it till 9am on the da­y of the event to sta­rt finding them.



CADDY For over 200 years, people in the coastal region of British Columbia have been spotting this Pleisosaur-looking sea serpent with the head of a horse or sometimes a camel, small flippers in the front, and either a large pair of flippers in the back or a powerful tail with a flipper on the end. Cadborosaurus, or “Caddy” for short, is named after Cadboro Bay on Vancouver Island, where it supposedly likes to hang out
