Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Haunted Hollow 9 event and is located just off one of the many trails located in Sleepy Hollow State Park. Most of the trails are well groomed and hard packed making a bike a great way to get to the caches in the area. A Michigan Passport is required for entry to the park and may be purchased there. Keep in mind during the hunting season to be aware of hunters in the area. Hunting is allowed from September 15th until April 1st each year.

Rifle River Recreation Area is a wilderness located within the AuSable State Forest and provides a variety of recreational opportunities. Great park for wildlife watching, hiking, fishing and hunting.

Modern Restroom Dates: Modern restroom facilities are available throughout the entire camping season.

Operating dates refer to all areas of the park/harbor, including day use facilities. Reservable dates refer to campground/harbor open and close dates.

Driving Directions: FROM I-75, TAKE EXIT 202 (ALGER) AND GO 20 MILES NORTH ON M-33 TO ROSE CITY. GO EAST ON ROSE CITY ROAD (F-28) 4.5 MILES TO PARK ENTRANCE
