Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the Haunted Hollow 9 event and is located just off one of the many trails located in Sleepy Hollow State Park. Most of the trails are well groomed and hard packed making a bike a great way to get to the caches in the area.  A Michigan Passport is required for entry to the park and may be purchased there.  Keep in mind during the hunting season to be aware of hunters in the area.  Hunting is allowed from September 15th until April 1st each year.


Petoskey State Park is 303 acres located on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan, along the Little Traverse Bay. Search for the elusive Petoskey stones on a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, view spectacular sunsets over the bay and enjoy one mile of golden sand. Located between Harbor Springs and Petoskey the park is a perfect destination for family fun!

Modern Restroom Dates: Modern restroom facilities are available throughout the entire camping season.

Operating dates refer to all areas of the park/harbor, including day use facilities. Reservable dates refer to campground/harbor open and close dates.

Driving Directions: The park is located on M-119 approximately 4.2 miles north of the city of Petoskey. Take US-31 (Bay View Rd) north 2.6 miles, make a left onto M-119 (Harbor-Petoskey Rd ) go 1.5 miles, park entrance will be on the left.
