Geocache Description:

NCAA football is full of Rivalries and some have a yearly traveling Trophy. For the Land Grant Colleges in the Dakota's it is the Dakota Marker. A repilca of the Granite Markers that historically and in some places still separates the border between the two perspective Dakotas.
 

The cache is a loose concrete replica of this trophy. It contains a small bison tube for the log. The Dakota Marker is only contested during their regular season conference match-ups and not the playoffs. The log is a bison tube inside the outer concrete container.
