Slough (noun):
1. a swamp.
2. a situation characterized by lack of progress or activity.
3. the dropping off of dead tissue from living flesh.
Standard disclaimer: Please be careful attempting this cache. Bring a friend, cache to your own abilities, and most importantly wear a life jacket! There are lots of duck blinds in the slough, so wear blaze orange if attempting during hunting season.
This one will not be easy to get to. We placed this during relatively high water, and were able to boat to within a few feet of GZ. Once the water goes down, you may have a tougher time reaching it, and may require some mucking through the shallows. Best approach is from the east, through the slough. .
You are looking for a large pill bottle tethered in a tree, overhanging the creek. Have fun!
