This cache is located along The Highlandman's Way, a popular walk in the Helensburgh area. The Highlandman's way run along the back of Helensburgh and allows for great views of the town and the Clyde. Decent footwear and, depending on the weather, waterproof clothing will be required as the terrain can be demanding. Be sure to bring a pen/pencil as the cache is very small.
The location of the cache makes for a fantastic walk or mountain bike. Located the peak of a popular mountain bike trail, chachers can cycle the long hill up and enjoy the trail all the way down. The Highlandman's Way can be accessed from Duchess Wood, a local Helensburgh nature reserve which makes for a lovely walk, Hill House and by walking up Station Road in Rhu. Helensburgh has a large central station which allows for easy transport in and out, however the walk from the station is rather far to this cache so be prepared.
