I got the geocache name for two reasons. First, the location, obviously, but at the same time, I wanted the title of the geocache to be a precursor for the next era of geocaches I will hide. It's been over seven years since I hid my first geocache,; GC2CFA8 Hidden Mickey Cache (Shape). My last hide (on my account) was actually an event, no not the Amazing Race Season 2, but GC4MQ5D Quick Rise & Shine at Tackapausha. which happened back in October 2013! Looking back at my 23 hides (before this one) I'd say that 75% of them were either gimmicky, confusing, in a poor location, or not well executed. (including Amazing Race Season 2. Looking back at that event, even though I improved on a theme, that mistake that I made on the sudoku really ruined the race. I have underestimated all of the responsiblilities it takes for that event, and now I have to say that I was too young to be the person responsible for that. (I was 14-15 when I was creating it!)) Over the years I have learned that the simple geocaches are the best as long as they are well maintained. Many years later, I finally see that the sun is rising.
