Geocache Description:

This is a cache that's located along the Bus 34 route in a car park in a busy suburban area. This cache is located near the Europaturm, Deutsche Bundesbank, and Geldmuseum, along with many housing and gardening areas.

The cache container is a magnetic medicine bottle. Please put it back exactly as you found it. You'll need to bring your own pen. Thank you and enjoy!

The Europaturm (Tower of Europe) is a 337.5-meter high telecommunications tower that was designed by Erwin Heinle from 1974-1979. At that time, the Europaturm was 331 meters and it was the tallest free-standing structure in the Federal Republic of Germany and it was the second tallest structure in Germany. But the Europaturm is the tallest structure in Germany by roof level with a height of 295 meters. It's base is 59 meters thick, making it the widest of any similar structure in the world. For a number of years, the upper part of the structure housed a restaurant and a nightclub and the top of the tower could turn and provide a panoramic view of the Rhine Main area. Eventually in 1999, the Europaturm closed and has been closed to the public since then. Around five years later, the antenna was replaced and made the structure 6 meters taller. Now the Europaturm just sits here, quietly. If you attempt to find this geocache in the dark, you'll see the Europaturm light up.
