The cache is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Emmaste Church. The church was completed in 1867. The predecessor of the Church was the Sõru chapel, which, at the time of the emergence of the Emmaste church church in 1866, was unusable. The owner of Emmaste Manor, Countess Maria Brevern De la Gardie, allocated a new church to build a Nõmme Pond, where the new church was founded.
