Located in Augusta between Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, Fort Custer features three lakes, the Kalamazoo River, second-growth forests, prairie restoration areas and a 219-site campground. Trails have been separated between equestrian and mountain bike users. All trails are open to hiking and hunting. Dog sledders may also be encountered. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited April 1st through Labor Day.
Modern Restroom Dates:Modern restrooms and services are scheduled to be available from the third Friday in April till the third Monday in October. Freezing temperatures could change this schedule. If you are planning a camping trip around these dates and having modern facilities is important to you, please contact the park to confirm that they plan to be on schedule.
Operating dates refer to all areas of the park/harbor, including day use facilities. Reservable dates refer to campground/harbor open and close dates.
