This cache is based on a WW2 photograph of two little girls looking through barbed-wire beach defences towards the beach and sea beyond.
I believe that the photo was taken along Eastbourne Seafront.
You can see the photograph in the gallery.
Is it Eastbourne Seafront?
Unfortunately, as you will see today, the railings along this part of the promenade have been removed.
They can, however, be seen not far away to the east of the pier, here: N 50° 46.072 E 000° 17.629
I believe the photographer stood approximately here: N 50° 45.996 E000° 17.519
What do you think?
Feel free to upload your own photo of the same view as the original photograph.
Perhaps include your mini-cachers in the photo as well.
