There’s not much to say about the history here, except that John Beatson was the owner of Bull Head Yard when he paid £5530 for HMS Temeraire for breaking in 1838. Many warships that survived their wartime careers were sold for breaking up when their life was over. (See my cache nearby GC76QR0 -The Fighting Temeraire).
Otherwise, it’s just a convenient place to hide a cache on the way in to Russia Dock Woodland and the Eco Park, or on the way out!
