Geocache Description:

Having been geocaching for over a year now we thought it was time we placed a cache of our own. We will keep it fairly simple for our first effort. Having spotted a particular item in a junk shop it seemed to just cry out for conversion into a geocache.

Continuing along the path out of Hazlehead Park you soon find yourself sandwiched between two golf courses. On the left is the 9 hole parkland course and on the right is the Hazlehead No2 (or Pines) course.

Gramps View is the fourth hole on the Pines course and Sahara is the sixth hole on the 9 hole course, the cache lies roughly between the two.

None of the Bampots are golfers. Our views on the matter are similar to those of Mark Twain. Golf is a good walk spoiled.

Cache placed with permission of the Aberdeen Countryside Ranger Service.

The cache is not located in any wall.
