I have so many great memories of hikes along this trail. This is a great place to stash my 100th hide. I can look across the mighty Susquehanna from the Lancaster side and see the spot. Hike in from the north or south along the Mason-Dixon Trail. Just two steps off the trail, but it's a well hidden camo'd peanut butter jar.
The first time I was on the Mason-Dixon Trail was as a Girl Scout leader with my daughter. That happened several times including some private caches placed for events. Another time was with my husband on a six-hour hike on Labor Day when we saw no one else on the trail. Another was a solo-hike that morphed into sharing FTF with NoBlueCircles at his tribute cache. Another was collecting a few new caches on a beautiful December day with my husband and son. And yet another was on a chilly December day with a frozen river and several caching buddies. And then there was the solo-hike to place this cache on a fine summer day. I have many great memories of being on this wonderful trail. Maybe having one more cache on the trail will bring you here to create your own memories.
