This event is being held at the Glasco Mini Park near the Hudson River which features a boat launch, fishing, playground, cooking area, and pavillion. Feel free to make use of these while attending. Share stories, travel bugs, and mingle with other geocachers.
The event will begin officially at 10:00am and end at 11:00am. Sometimes events I hold go a bit over, but please note that due to prior obligations I unfortunetly cannot stay longer this time. Feel free to enjoy the park after the event ends though if you would like. This is a rain or shine event because of the pavillion and will only be cancelled in the case of severe weather.
This is the second International Geocaching Day event I have held and also marks 1 year of events I have hosted. The first event I have ever done was this fun holiday and I got to share it with locals and visitors alike in 2016. Soon after, I made the goal of hosting at least one event each month for a year and stuck with it. It was difficult in colder months, but as soon as things warmed up I made up for it with a flurry of events. So far, I've met so many wonderful people and found great caches. Thank you to everyone who has made this game what it is and one of my newest obsessions. I hope I can share this day with you yet again.
