Kámen s kordy
(Mečový kámen)
Na Bínově, vrchu u Kravař, na stezce do Pohorska, stojí kámen. Na tomto balvanu jsou hrubě vytesány dva kordy a špatně čitelný letopočet 1419 nebo spíš 1492. Vypráví se o něm několik pověstí. V roce 1492 byla kolem ještě divoká, nenarušená krajina pokrytá hustým lesem. Jednou do těch míst zbloudili dva tovaryši a nemohli se dostat z lesa ven. Byli již blízko smrti hladem, a aby nemuseli prožít bědný konec života v hladových mukách, probodli se navzájem svými kordy, které tehdy pocestní tovaryši nosili. Na památku události na onom místě kdosi nechal vsadit kámen se zkříženými kordy a letopočtem. Jiná verze usazení pomníku hovoří o tom, že se na onom místě v souboji probodli dva studenti. Třetí pověst vypráví, že v Kravařích kdysi přenocovali dva řezníci. Druhý den šli dále a dostali se do sporu, jeden druhému vyčítal, že ho ošidil při koupi dobytka. Slovní půtka přerostla do rvačky, při které se až k smrti pobodali řeznickými noži. Na místě byli pochováni. Proto se tomu kameni říká řeznický anebo kámen s kordy. Poslední verze se zdá být nejpravděpodobnější.

Zajímavosti
Na starších tištěných mapách byl Mečový kámen nesprávně zakreslen a i když např. Mapy.cz ho mají zaměřený přesně (i vyfocený), v křovinách může být obtížné kámen objevit.
Kámen se nachází jen pár metrů od hranice okresů Litoměřice a Česká Lípa, resp. Ústeckého a Libereckého kraje.
Zajímavý a velmi členitý svah východně od kamene je pokrytý čedičovou sutí a nejspíš se jedná o vulkanický proud z období třetihor. Vzhledem k podobě reliéfu, kdy svah působí dojmem, jako by se utrhnul, zde mohlo někdy v minulosti dojít i k sesuvu.
Přístup
Nejpohodlnější, nejjistější a nejspíš i nejrychlejší přístup ke keši je po zpevněné cestě vedoucí mezi body P1 a P2. Tato silnička má rovný asfaltový povrch a je tedy možné po ní jet i kočárkem apod., ne však autem (jsou zde značky zakazující vjezd a na krajích lesa i závory). Odbočit ze silničky je nutné v bodě OO. Po asi 120 metrech dojdete na paseku, kde se nachází maringotka, jednoduché stavení a jakýsi posed, vlevo mezi stromky pak posezení a také cedulka - bod záchrany LT O41 (BZ). Poslední úsek (cca 300 m) od tohoto místa už je poněkud horší - doporučuji dlouhé kalhoty a lepší, plné boty. Z paseky je nutné se vydat vlevo nepříliš dobře patrnou pěšinou v křovinách, která je na několika místech trochu zarostlá. Po cca 300 metrech už dojdete k ceduli a jen asi 10 metrů za ní vlevo v křoví je Mečový kámen (MK). Při posledních pár metrech ke krabičce našlapujte na kameny opatrně.
Alternativní přístupová cesta od Kravař začíná v bodě AA a vede nejprve po kraji louky a poté lesem. V celé své délce je docela dobře schůdná. Jakýkoli další přístup ke keši zahrnuje obtížné prodírání se "džunglí" a nebezpečnou chůzi po zarostlých suťových svazích, kde vám lehce může uklouznout noha na uvolněném kameni - doporučuji jen zdatným dobrodruhům. Na některých mapách jsou zakresleny různé stezky v okolí kešky (dále nahoru za kamenem by dokonce měla vést okružní fialová trasa, o které informuje cedule na nádraží v Kravařích), tyto pěšiny jsou však již dávno zarostlé a zejména ve vegetačním období se vám budou často ztrácet v porostu. Jedna divočejší cesta přímo z Kravař začíná v bodě BB. Nejprve je celkem schůdná, vede přes louku, kolem kapličky a přes potok, ale na začátku lesa se mi ztratila a bylo nutné se prodírat kopřivami, bodláčím apod. V lese je možné ji opět najít a k výše zmíněné cestě se nakonec připojuje v bodě CC. Další, ještě drsnější cesta začíná v bodě DD. Bahnitá a zarostlá pěšina se brzy ztrácí a dále je nutné postupovat skrze suťový les, stejně jako v případě, že si budete chtít zkrátit cestu z doporučené asfaltové silničky přímo ke keši.
O krabičce
Tato keška byla založena za účelem ukázání vám tohoto zajímavého objektu v hezké lokalitě, která je navíc jakýmsi „bílým místem“ na mapě kešek. Podobou tedy samotná krabička nijak nevyniká nad tím, co si představíte pod pojmem „tradiční“. Při zakládání jsem vložil mnoho malých předmětů pro vás či vaše děti. Chcete-li obchodovat, respektujte prosím pravidla GC. Logbook s tužkou vracejte zpět do obalu a to platí i pro krabičku, jež je v pytlíku a ještě v igelitce. Díky moc a doufám, že budete mít díky kešce hezký zážitek.

Sword Stone
On the Bínov hill near the village Kravaře, by the path to Pohorsko, stands a stone. There are two small-swords carved into this boulder and a badly readable year 1419 or 1492 (more likely). Several legends are told about it. In 1492, the surrounding wilderness was still covered with a dense forest. Once, two journeymen strayed into these places and could not get out of the woods. They were already close to death by starvation, and so, to prevent the slow end of their lives in hungry tortures, they pierced each other with their small-swords, which were worn by journeymen in those times. In memory of the event, someone put a stone with swords and the year on the place where it happened. Another story says that two students were stabbed here in a duel. The third legend, which is the most likely one, tells us about two butchers who spent a night in the nearby Kravaře village. The next day, they continued further and got into the dispute, one of them accusing the second one that he swindled while buying cattle. The quarrel soon grew into a fight, in which they chopped each other to death by butcher knives. They were buried at the site. That is why the stone is also sometimes called Butcher-stone.

Trivia
In older printed maps, the Sword Stone wasn’t located correctly, and even if today the position is precise (see Mapy.cz, for instance), it may be difficult to find the stone in the bushes.
The stone is located only a few meters from the border of Litoměřice and Česká Lípa district or the Ústí nad Labem and the Liberec region, respectively.
There is an interesting and ragged slope east of the stone, covered with basalt scree, which is probably a volcanic stream from the Tertiary period. Judging by the shape of the relief (the slope looks like it has broken away), a landslide could have occurred here in the past.
Access
The most comfortable, the surest, and perhaps the fastest access to the cache is via a paved path leading between points P1 and P2 (parking for ca 2 cars). This road has a flat asphalt surface and can be driven by a stroller etc., but not by car (there are signs prohibiting entry and barriers on the forest-border). You have to leave the asphalt road at the point OO. After about 120 meters you will reach a forest-clearing where there is a caravan with another simple building and on the left there is a sitting-resting place in the trees and also a sign - rescue point LT O41 (BZ). The last section (about 300 m) from this place is through more difficult terrain - I recommend long pants and good shoes. From the clearing it is necessary to go left by badly visible path in the bushes. After about 300 meters you will reach the sign and only about 10 meters behind it on the left in the bushes is the Sword Stone (MK). On the final few meters to the box, step carefully on the stones.
Point AA is where the alternative access route from Kravaře starts. It leads at the side of the meadow and then to the forest. The path is quite ok in its entire length. Any other access to the cache includes crawling through jungle and dangerous walk on slopes where your foot can easily slip on loose stone - only for real adventurers. In some maps there are various paths in the vicinity of the cache, but these paths are old and not functioning today - during the vegetation period you will often lose them. One wilder road from Kravaře starts at point BB. First, it is quite ok, it passes through the meadow, around a little chapel and over the creek, but at the beginning of the forest the path is lost and it is necessary to pass through the nettles, thistle etc. In the forest it can be found again and it joins the above mentioned path at point CC. Another, even harsher path begins at point DD. The muddy and overgrown path will soon be lost, and it is necessary to proceed through the scree-covered forest, as in the case that you would like to shorten your journey from the recommended asphalt road directly to the cache.
About the box
This geocache was founded to show you an interesting object in a nice location, which is also kind of "white spot" on the GC-map. The box itself does not exceed what you think of as "traditional". I put many small items inside for you or your children when placing the box. If you wanna trade, please respect the GC rules.
