International Geocaching Day in Bowral
Date: Saturday, August 19, 2017
Time: 10.30am to midday
Where: Join us at Mt Gibraltar - Inner Bowl Picnic Area, Bowral.
Also known affectionately by locals as 'The Gib'
Please log your will attend so we know how many to plan for.
We will have a TB tray for swaps so feel free to drop swap TBs into the event.
Also please bring along your trackables for discovery as we will cater for them as well.
If you feel like walking off morning tea, there are a number of caches in Mt Gibraltar and the surrounding areas, both traditional and earthcache, so grab the family and head into Bowral for a fun day of geocaching.
There are at least 7 different walking tracks to explore - geo dogs are more than welcome too, provided that they are on a leash at all times and you collect any waste. There are a range of walks to suit everyone, from (very) short treks from the carpark to longer circuits with steeper tracks. 'The Rim' walking track is amongst the most popular, as it is a short 25 minute walk that takes connects all the lookouts on the west side of the reserve.
This event is open to all geocachers and their families, no matter how long you have been caching. A special invitation is extended to all visiting out of town geocachers.

Feel free to 'watch' this listing, we will update you of any changes as the date draws closer
