A few caches as you make your way through the heart of the bluegrass. This area has long been a hotbed of the equine industry and we thought it would be appropriate to name these caches to recognize that history.
For fans of the Sport of Kings many of these horses will be recognized as old friends. These thoroughbreds have been retired and are living out their remaining years in pastures that border a portion of this series.
You are looking for a Bison hanging low containing only a waterproof log. Permanent markers work best. Ball point and gel pens also work. Pencils, well not so much. We have found that folding these logs a few times before attempting to roll works best. A pair of tweezers may come in handy for some of these caches.
