Hjulet

Gnosjö kommunvapen innehåller 5 vattenhjul vilka ska symbolisera de fem socknar som 1952 bildade den nya kommunen samt vattenkraften som gjorde det möjligt att anlägga småindustrier i området. Dessa inriktade sig huvudsakligen på smide, trådtillverkning och liknande metallbearbetning.
Vill man se mer av den gamla Gnosjöindustrin finns även ett industrimuseum i Töllstorp, strax utanför tätorten.

Cachen består av ett litet plaströr innehållande det vanliga, dvs loggremsa och penna

The Wheel

Gnosjö municipal weapon contains 5 water wheels which symbolizes the five parishes that was the origin of the new municipality created in 1952 and the hydro power that made it possible to start small industries in the area. These mainly focused on forging, wire making and similar metalworking.
Should you want to see more of the old Gnosjö industry, there is also an industrial museum in Töllstorp, just outside the town center.

The container is a small plastic tube with the usual objects - a log strip and a pencil
