Near the posted coordinates you will find two rock formations/memorials. You will need information from both formations to calculate the final coordinates.
The first formation has a square plaque attached to it. On it you will find a date in which this memorial was dedicated.
a = the third number of the year in which the memorial was dedicated
At the second formation you will find the elevation of the park engraved into the rock and an arrow with letters engraved in it.
b = the second number of the elevation
c = the number of letters engraved in the arrow
Once you have the numbers, follow the directions below to find the final coordinates.
To the posted coordinates, subtract “0.00a” from the minutes of the north coordinates.
To the posted coordinates, add “0.0bc” to the minutes of the west coordinates.
