It's time for our annual ice cream social, with some changes this year. Please join us Saturday, August 19th at the Long Creek pavillion at Spitler Woods for some ice cream and good conversation. The pavilion is the first one on your LEFT after you enter the park. Plenty of parking is available immediately in front of the pavilion. August 19th is also International Geocaching Day, so you will get a souvenir for attending. We will be trying something new this year and will be purchasing individual ice cream cups rather than gallons. For this reason, it is very important that you post your "Will Attend" by Tuesday, August 15th so that we can be sure there is enough to go around. If you like, feel free to bring an ice cream topping to share, however, if you choose not to bring one, that is perfectly fine, too. We will provide the ice cream, spoons, napkins and water. We have the pavillion reserved all day, so if you would like to bring a picnic lunch or dinner, you can eat in the pavillion. Please be sure to post your "Will Attend" and we hope to see you there!
