Located in the Wagendrift Reserve, this beautiful dam offers great birding with fish eagle and black eagle to be spotted.
After spending a great afternoon enjoying the peace and quiet at the Dam we decided to place a few caches so pack a picnic basket or your braai and your GPS and come and have some fun.
There is an entry fee of R30 per adult and R15 per child. Wild Card is accpeted.
Gate Opening and Closing Times:
Summer (October to March ) 05h00 to 19h00
Winter (April to September ) 06h00 to 18h00
There are also camping facilities and chalets for those wanting to make it into a weekend trip.
Another one that you will need to work for. You will need to bring your own boat/canoe/jetski/etc to get to this one. Once at the GZ it may take you awhile to find this one.
