Da Longarone si imbocca la val di zoldo oppure da Agordo si procede per il passo Duran. Si supera Zoldo Alto fino al Campeggio Palafavera, si lascia l'auto sotto gli impianti di risalita (parcheggio immenso e vuoto per la chiusura estiva degli impianti).
Dal parcheggio già si vede la cima, è la più alta che si vede tutto a destra, a sinistra c'è il Civetta.
All'imbocco del parcheggio si prende la strada sterrata (564) che con una leggera e costante pendenza porta a Casera Pioda in circa 1 ora.
Per raggiungere Casera Pioda esistono diverse varianti, o tramite la seggiovia di Palafavera o dalla località Piani di Pezzè venendo da Alleghe, circa 1 ora di cammino anche da qui (anche qui si può diminuire il dislivello tramite l'ovovia del Col dei Baldi).
Da qui si prende il sentiero 556 a sinistra che in un'altra ora porta al Rifugio Sonino Coldai (2132m) e si prosegue per circa altri 10 minuti fino alla Forcella Coldai (q. 2191 m). Anche qui esiste un sentiero per esperti (no. 4) che raggiunge Forcella Coldai passando per il lago senza passare per Malga Pioda.
Ora inizia la salita vera e propria. Dalla Forcella Coldai si sale a destra seguendo tracce di sentiero in alcuni rari punti segnato, è abbastanza facile perdere la traccia, comunque si sale sui prati fino ad arrivare alle roccette finali puntando alla croce della cima (45'). L'ultima parte, dall'antro della madonna, che vedete tra le foto, alla cima è per escursionisti esperti perchè prevede anche l'aiuto delle mani per superare un paio di tratti tra le rocce, talvolta anche esposto, quindi abbate prudenza in quest'ultima parte.
La cache è di dimensioni small e all'interno contiene logbook e matita. Buon divertimento e buona caccia!
From Longarone take the valley of Zoldo or from Agordo go for the Duran pass. It goes above Zoldo Alto to the Palafavera Camping, leaves the car under the lifts (immense and empty parking for the summer closure of the plants).
From the parking lot you can see the top, it is the highest you see all right, the left is the Civetta.
At the entrance of the car park you take the dirt road (564) which with a slight steep slope leads to Casera Pioda in about 1 hour.
To reach Casera Pioda there are several variants, either via the chairlift of Palafavera or from the Piani di Pezzè village, coming from Alleghe, about 1 hour from here (here too you can decrease the difference in height by the Col dei Baldi eyebrow).
From here you take the 556 to the left, which at another time leads to Rifugio Sonino Coldai (2132m) and continues for another 10 minutes to the Coldai Forcella (2191 m). There is also an expert trail (No. 4) that reaches Coldai Forcella passing through the lake without going through Malga Pioda.
Now the actual climb begins. From the Coldai Forcella rises to the right following trails in some rare spots, it's easy to miss the track, however, you climb up the meadows until you reach the final rocks pointing at the top of the top (45 '). The last part of the Madonna's anise, which you see in the photos, is at the top for experienced hikers because it also involves the help of the hands to overcome a couple of traces between the rocks, sometimes even exposed, so be careful in this Last part.
The cache is small in size and contains logbooks and pencils. Have fun and good hunting!
