Geocache Description:

The first total eclipse in nearly a century will be August 21, 2017. We will be at 95% coverage. Still impressive and should be experienced.

As part of our school outreach program, we are hosting a eclipse viewing party. 2-3 PM at the school tennis court. We will have a few pairs of eclipse viewing glasses, special telescopes, camera lense filters and mounts for your smart phone. We will also have pinhole viewers and other fun activities.

The maximum coverage will be at 2:36 PM.

Bring your own eclipse viewing glasses or use some of the equipment we will have on hand.
