This cache is a 2-stage multi - there is a fun puzzle at Stage 1 that will give you the coordinates to the tricky Stage 2.
The Who's rock opera Quadrophenia is the story of Jimmy Cooper - a London teenager who's mind is fractured into 4 separate personalities. Like Jimmy, the Quadrophenia caches also reflect 4 separate personalities:

It is not necessary to do the caches in order, but the cache descriptions follow Jimmy's journey.
Jimmy is excited to arrive in Brighton, but he finds things aren't the same. He comes across Ace Face - a former Mod leader that Jimmy looked up to. But now Ace has a menial job as a bell hop at a hotel the Mods once tore up and he looks down on Jimmy for living in the past. Rejected, Jimmy steals a boat and sails out to a rock. Sitting on the rock in the rain, Jimmy contemplates his life - and whether it's worth living. Then Jimmy begins to have an epiphany - his 4 personalities are all a part of who he is.
The song Love, Reign O'er Me is the grand finale of Quadrophenia. Pete Townsend describes the song as follows: "[it] refers to Meher Baba's one time comment that rain was a blessing from God; that thunder was God's Voice. It's another plea to drown, only this time in the rain. Jimmy ... surrenders to the inevitable, and you know, you know, when it's over and he goes back to town he'll be going through the same ... being in the same terrible family situation and so on, but he's moved up a level. He's weak still, but there's a strength in that weakness. He's in danger of maturing."

DIRECTIONS & DETAILS: The coordinates for Stage 1 will take you to the back of a parking lot. Look about 4 feet high on the last thing in the row. Leave the outside container and take what's inside back to your car so you can figure out the coordinates for Stage 2. Bring a pen and you may need tweezers/pint retrieve the log.
