About SideTracked Caches

This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More Information can be found at the SideTracked Website

About Scopwick & Timberland Station

Opened in August 1882 on the Great Northern and Great Eastern Railway's joint line from Sleaford to Lincoln, the station closed on 7 November 1955.

The station was between the level crossing and the still existent goods shed in the distance.

You may be able to work out the site of the old signal box, but sadly this was demolished and removed when the crossing was modernised to automatic barriers.

Part of the signal box replica can be seen at the nearby Kirkby Green Light Railway
