We will meet in the carpark next to Rayleigh Windmill and Rayleigh Mount, a National Trust property. Car parking is free on Sundays and entry to Rayleigh Mount is also free.
The Mount is all that is left of Rayleigh Castle, mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and the only one in Essex.
The Windmill is a tower Mill built in 1809 and restored in 2005.
Start - Noon and finish at 1230.
Just enough time to chat about recent geocaching adventures and to glean snippets of information about tricky caches. Hopefully some of the local geocachers that I haven't met yet will attend as well as some of the usual faces.
There are a number of traditional and multi caches nearby.
There will be a small bucket to help TBs and geocoins on their way and hopefully I will remember to take an artistically posed photo of the assembled throng.
