The Hadar park has 4 camper pads with electrical hookup and water nearby, horse shoe pits, volleyball, a ball field, picnic shelters, nice playground equipment, bathrooms with showers, a walking path and a lawn bowling area (equipment and information about lawn bowling is available by calling the phone number by the camper pads).
Hadar was platted in 1883 soon after the arrival of the railroad. The name Hadar is derived from a German word meaning "strife" or "discord" and the town was so named when the original group of German pioneers could not agree on where to settle.
Note: At times during the winter (like in case of heavy snow), this cache might not be accessible.
