7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

Take a short break to visit Bailey Reserve and the cache in it. Bailey Reserve is a small park in the middle of suburban Blackwood. Take care when cache hunting as the area is a reforestation zone – you shouldn’t need to disturb the regrowth to find this cache. Make sure to keep an eye out for snakes especially in summer.

This cache is nestled in a small nature reserve in the middle of one of the older sections of Blackwood. Whilst the park itself isn't overly spectacular (aside from being a short cut for walkers and cyclists on their way to the train station or nearby MTB trails), it is only a stone's throw away from the Blackwood Heritage Walk, which gives an interesting overview of many of the historic buildings in the area. You can access the Heritage Walk via the Mitcham Council Website.
