Geocache Description:

Welcome to Clarinbridge! Fáilte go Droichead an Chláirín!

The cache is hidden in the Village Green - Faiche an Bhaile.

The Village Green is positioned in the heart of Clarinbridge village, and has spaecial significance for all of the community. The green is the venue for various local events and markets. Christopher Redington, Kilcornan, established the first market here in 1817 which was of great benefit to the community. The impressive Celtic Cross in the green commemorates his son, Thomas N. Redington who was under-secretary for Ireland from 1846-1852.
