Cooper Memorial Bridge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

cas25: This was left exposed again so I guess it’s time for it to go.
I don’t think this was done by a geocacher. My best guess is a kid. Thanks to a Team Bullis for pointing out that my original log may have led people to believe a geocacher left it out in the open.

Geocache Description:

Cooper Memorial Bridge is a vital link between the town of Lincoln and the South Peak of Loon Mountain.  For a short time after Tropical Storm Irene in 2011, it was the only link between Loon Mountain and the town after the Loon Bridge was damaged and fell.

This tiny cache is hidden on the bridge and can be reached from the pedestrian walkway.  There is no need to walk into the roadway, lean over the bridge railing, climb down toward the river, etc.

Please bring your own pencil.  Tweezers might be helpful too.

Congrats to gowithin and pokey4570 for being FTF!
