Cache is located at Sherman's Rock. This large Rock has eroded out of the hill on which it sits over the past centuries. The Rock is made up of granite and sandstone. Much of the sandstone has eroded over the years as the creek has carved around it. The sandstone around the Rock has started to crumble and has therefore eroded out from around it, leaving Sherman's Rock out in the open woods.
