Geocache Description:

Along the track to Blue Creek Dam, there is a little detour up a hill which is accessible by 2wd, but easier with a 4wd.

At this location you are on the edge of what was previously known as the Lorne Flora Reserve which protected an outstanding example of old growth coastal blackbutt. However the Dry Grassy Tallowood - Grey Gum dominates the park with over 43% of the park covered by that species – just wish someone would point out what it looks like!

The cache will be a challenge to get to so please come prepared.
