This cache is a short walk down the Box Canyon Trail to the first of two new bridges opened in June, 2017, thanks to the Mount Shasta Trail Association. This beautiful canyon is well worth the walk and the immediate surroundings can take a full afternoon to explore. I'm sure there must be a Ford in here somewhere, but certainly no Toyotas or BMWs to be seen. The cache is hidden out of sight right along the trail, no need to get a tetanus shot. With the tree cover the hint might be of use.
